Nerly all the things you mentioned I actually wantted that way.
The wings were made with brushes & I like them that way.
I went throught the extraction & counted two places.
The colours always look different in PS & as you may know when they're posted on the web they change.
That was only my second wall so you can expect mistakes.

And in my personal oppinion the character and bg doesn't fit. (colors) Plus, the character doesn't look very lost at all. :P

if you clean both the bg and the lines up it will be a nice wall. Lemme know.

Thanks for the hints I'll upload an improved version tomorrow (mostly because my crappy Internet connection doesn't allow me to do that right now), in which I removed most of the artefacting in the upper-left corner (though not all of it ), and I cleaned up the scan a bit. That is going to be probably the way it'll stay, because I've been working for waaaay too long on this wallpaper and I'm a bit fed up with it right now

(Side note: There's more than one way of being lost... And I think that Rey (the character whose image I used) was a bit lost from the start in the series . And yep, I know that the colors don't quite fit, too... Heck, here's hoping that my next wallpaper will look better ).

Um... actually, I would prefer a more constructive suggestion/crictism like 'the text is not suited for the wall'. Saying that is awful and ruins the wall really hurts people's feeling as they to put much effort into the wall like u putting to yours.

Now, about the birds, the lines are something like clouds. if i had made speedstripes, it willl not be something like this.
